Junaid Khan, a former pacer for Pakistan, has expressed his disapproval of India’s bowling after the team lost the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. The host team won the series against India for the first time since 1997, dominating India 2-0.
Indian batsmen struggled against Sri Lankan spinners throughout the series and lost all three games. Moreover, India’s bowlers were ineffective and did not routinely take wickets. Junaid feels that Jasprit Bumrah is a major part of India’s bowling assault.
In order to manage his workload following India’s successful ICC T20 World Cup 2024 campaign, Jasprit Bumrah has been given a prolonged leave of absence.
The next test for India is a two-match Test series against Bangladesh, which is slated for September in Chennai and Kanpur.
Do you concur? India would have zero bowling without Bumrah. #SLVSIND #INDvSL
